“Youth Replies, I Can”, is an anthology of stories published shortly after WWII which highlights tales of the war and the acts of heroism done by children that suffered from Axis domination and cruelty. Emilian Glocar contributed a story from Yugoslavia, “Children in the Storm”.

Vernelle Kurak befriended Father Glocar in the late 1970’s and wrote a short story about her experiences. Most of the paintings that she refers to are included in the story, “Searching for Father Glocar”.
